The Zip Sand-BLOCK provides the functionality of sanding sponges with the performance of a sanding block. The beauty of this system is you get the super performance of true sand paper compared to a sponge that’s impregnated with sanding grit.
In addition, the new Zip® Sand-BLOCK features the popular Gator® Finishing System, which uses a number-coded and color-coded sandpaper identification system, making it easy for the first time do-it-yourselfer and the seasoned woodworker to use the right sandpaper grit every step of the way. Step 1 is color-coded green for stripping and includes 80 grit; Step 2 is color-coded orange for sanding and includes 120 grit; Step 3 is color-coded gold for fine finishing and includes grits of 220 and 320.
Once again I’ve been very impressed with the Gator® Finishing System. The sand paper works amazingly well and everyone that has tested it that I know raves about the quality. The sand paper doesn’t “gum” up as fast as traditional sand paper and it seems to product a much smoother finish per grit. I’m definitely a huge fan of the Gator® Finishing System now and I look forward to seeing their next product releases!
The Zip® Sand-BLOCK sanding sponge can be found nationwide at select retailers for around $7.00 per two-pack. To learn more or find a retailer near you, please visit www.zipsander.com or call 1-800-255-4748.
