I watched a very cool short video recently (hat tip to Jay over at CopTool) about how the San Francisco Fire Department still builds and uses wooden ladders. It’s really remarkable to think that wood ladders are still being used today as they were back in the early 1900’s. My family (both sides) have a long history in the fire department services so this was especially interesting to me.
If you’ve got a minute check out this video and see why wood is still good!
