Upcoming Bench Dog Router Table Review
Bench Dog ProMax Router Table
A few weeks ago I wrote about wanting to add a router table extension wing to my table saw. Well I’m happy to say that the fine folks at Bench Dog Tools have agreed to send me the ProMax Cast Iron Router Table to use and review for all of you!
The router table extension was delivered today so I plan on installing it on my Delta Table Saw over the coming days and attaching my router. I’ll write a post on how to assemble the router table extension and another post with a full product review. In the mean time if you’re searching for some great router tables then check out the complete Bench Dog Tools catalog.
I chose this type of router table because my new workshop will have limited space. By combining my table saw with this router table I’m able to save a significant amount of floor space. Furthermore, I’m really excited about the design of this router table because it uses a cast iron table that matches the cast iron table on my table saw. This results in a much larger cast iron table surface for working on. It also gives me another miter gauge slot that I can use for a custom cross-cutting sled.
If any of you have specific questions about this type of router table please let me know. I’d love to incorporate some of your questions into my review.
