Snow Blower Maintenance

Last year I bought a Craftsman 10HP Snow Thrower. Tomorrow’s weather forecast is for 6″ to 18″ of snow. So today I decided to do some maintenance in preparation for the years first snow storm. Each season you should get your snow blower out prior to the first snow fall and make sure it’s in good running condition. The following 5 items should be done each season.

Change the oil
Install a new spark plug
Inspect belts for wear and replace if necessary
Lube the drive and chasis
Fill with fresh, clean gasoline

If you take the time each season to do maintenance on your snow blower you’ll get many years of good service. Bring on the snow!
