Techtronic Industries (TTI) North America recently introduced  the Ryobi Tek4 Cordless Electronic Tool line. The new Ryobi Tek4 cordless tools all run on the same new revolutionary 4-volt Lithium-ion battery pack. The new Ryobi Tek4 family of cordless tools includes 10 new tools for remodelers, builders and do-it-yourselfers.

According a spokeman for TTI “Each Tek4 battery can replace 6,000 AA alkaline batteries, which helps reduce waste in landfills. This feature certainly makes this new line of tools a “green” option for tools that previously ran on traditional AA batteries.

The new Ryobi Tek4 line of cordless tools includes five categories: convenience (Portable Power Source), documentation (Durashot MP Digital Camera), safety (High Intensity LED Flashlight and Audio Plus Noise Suppression Headphones), security (Motion Sensing Alarm with Remote and Digital Key Lock Box) and measurement (Self-Leveling Plumb/Cross Laser, Professional Laser Distance Measure, Professional Digital Multimeter and Professional Infrared Thermometer). All of these tools feature weather-resistant and rugged designs made for tough job applications.
