If you get the chance you really should take your kids to one of these workshops. They are well designed for young kids and helps get them excited about using simple tools and having fun doing things like we all do on the weekends.

Our kit included several pieces of wood that create the car, pre-painted Home Depot orange. The kit also included wheels, nails, and decorative stickers for a fantastic looking race car!
The first picture is of my son gluing up the wood parts that later get nailed together.
My daughter used a small hammer to nail some small brads into the car body.
Next my son took a turn doing some nailing, he’s getting pretty good at it!
The finished product! Both kids are now enjoying rolling it all over the house!

There were kids from 3+ up to 10 or so.
