Dust Right Dual Port – Superior Dust Collection

Superior Dust Collection

Dust Right™ Dual Port exclusively from Rockler combines dust collection above and below a router table with a single, standard 4’’ hose.

MEDINA, MN (April 13, 2010) – Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has introduced two new dust collection components that expand the patented Dust Right system to the router table. The Rockler Dust Right™ Dual Port is another innovation in a comprehensive line of simple and inexpensive dust collection products.

The Rockler Dust Right™ Dual Port allows woodworkers to collect dust from above and below the router table. This new fitting connects the 2-1/2” hose from the fence on the top of the table with the 4” fitting on the box or cabinet under the table into a single 4” extraction port. This unique fitting also works with the tooless quick release Dust Right™ handle.

“The Dual Port is both a stand-alone product, and part of a larger system” explains Steve Krohmer, Rockler’s vice president of product development. “It can be used in an existing dust collection system, or as part of the Dust Right™ line of products.”

The Rockler Dual Port is also engineered to be used with the new Rockler Dust Bucket that houses the router and contains the dust from under the table. It features a 4” exhaust port and an air intake that can be adjusted to regulate suction on the work piece being routed – a common problem when routing dado’s. It also features a magnetic catch on the door for quick and convenient access for router adjustments, and a mounting flange with key-hole slots for easy installation and removal.

The Rockler Dual Port, Dust Bucket and other Dust Right™ system components are available at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware stores nationwide, Rockler’s independent resellers, Rockler.com, or from the Rockler catalog.
