In order to test the DAP Seal ‘N Peel we applied it to a wood window sash using a standard caulking gun. Next we let the removable caulking dry and stay on the window for over a week so that it would cure.
We were pleasantly surprised at how easily the DAP Seal ‘N Peel removes from the wood surfaces. As you can see in photo the caulking pulls right away from the wood surface in a single piece.
Why not check out one of the Lowes Coupons and buy yourself some of the DAP Seal ‘N Peel!

My experience (and many others, from the comments online in other places) is that DAP changed the formula in 2016 and the newer version does NOT peel off easily or cleanly.
It IS a handy product that eliminates drafts well, but Would agree with the above. Current formulation tends to rip in smaller bits rather than the nice long peel of former version. You can minimize this by laying down a full bead- maybe wider/thicker than really needed- so there’s more substance when time to remove. Also, be ready for the pronounced vinegar smell during and a couple of hours after application. I try to use small- foam backer rod most of the time, even using scissors to cut in half for small gaps. Tighten up!
