The small portion of the building with the brick siding was built using a structural steel frame with metal stud framed walls. The metal studs were then covered with Densglass Sheathing and Polystyrene insulation. Finally the split face brick masonry was installed over an air space and proper flashing.
Instead of creating window sills with brick the mason installed solid granite sills. The granite sills are very attractive and very durable. They certainly add a touch of class and protection against rain and snow.
